DESCRIPTION:Breastfeeding Family Friendly Communities and the SAFE Infant Feeding Team are part of a Photovoice project documenting how families in Western North Carolina fed their babies and young children after Hurricane Helene — told by the people who lived it\, through their own photographs. \nThis is a virtual information and recruitment session. Come find out what taking part involves\, ask your questions\, and sign up if it is right for you. \nWhat taking part looks like\n\nThree meetings in all\, one of them in person in Asheville\nYou take photographs between October and January\nA gift card is offered for each meeting you attend\nThe photographs become a public celebration exhibit in spring 2027\n\nFour identical sessions are offered. Come to whichever one fits: Tuesday\, September 29 at 1:00 pm or 7:00 pm\, or Saturday\, October 3 at 10:00 am or 4:00 pm. \nLed by Dr. Aunchalee Palmquist of the Duke Global Health Institute\, in partnership with the Buncombe Partnership for Children\, the UNC Carolina Global Breastfeeding Institute\, and the SAFE Infant Feeding Team.
