It's hard to believe that summer is almost here! We recognize the challenges and struggles you all have faced in advocating for the rights of breastfeeding, chestfeeding, and human milk feeding families in your communities. This summer, we hope that you can continue informing, engaging, and motivating action to create strong community support and welcome families to meet their infant feeding goals. Remember, BFFC provides 3-5 hours of free technical assistance to communities working on breastfeeding friendly designations - please reach out with any questions or even success stories! And this fall, plan to join the After Party to restore and renew your efforts along with other community partners. More information below!
August is a significant month. It is World Breastfeeding Week (August 1-7) and National Breastfeeding Month! August represents the culmination of months of work done to foster community-led breastfeeding family friendly communities and advocate for policies and practices that protect the rights of all breastfeeding, chestfeeding, and human milk feeding families. This is the time to use our collective power and impact to support equity and justice in birthing, breastfeeding, chestfeeding, and human milk feeding in our communities, nationally and globally. |
