The Towns of Carrboro and Chapel Hill continue to support this expanding initiative with proclamations signifying that the communities are Breastfeeding Family Friendly. In June, 2016, the Town of Chapel Hill read the Breastfeeding Family Friendly Communities proclamation. The Mayor, Pam Hemminger, is standing with three representatives of the Breastfeeding Family Friendly Communities Team! The Town of Carrboro also read the proclamation during its meeting in June, 2016!
