We’re excited to share that the SAFE Infant Feeding Team (Support and Advocacy for Infant Feeding in Emergencies) received support from the Marcia Brady Tucker Foundation to support the development of a virtual training series on infant and young child feeding during emergencies.

This initiative was made possible through the generous funding of the Foundation, the foundational leadership of the North Carolina Breastfeeding Coalition in creating and growing the SAFE Team, and the continued infrastructure and operational support from Breastfeeding Family Friendly Communities (BFFC).
The video-based training series launched in August 2025. It serves as a vital resource for healthcare providers, emergency responders, and public health professionals supporting families affected by disaster.
