Photovoice In-Person Group Session (Snow Date)

Breastfeeding Family Friendly Communities and the SAFE Infant Feeding Team are part of a Photovoice project documenting how families in Western North Carolina fed their babies and young children after Hurricane Helene — told by the people who lived it, through their own photographs.

This is the backup date for the Photovoice in-person group session. It will be used only if weather cancels Thursday, January 28, 2027.

Held at the AmeriHealth Caritas North Carolina Wellness and Opportunity Center, 216 Asheland Ave, Asheville.

The date and room are held and will be confirmed in October.

Led by Dr. Aunchalee Palmquist of the Duke Global Health Institute, in partnership with the Buncombe Partnership for Children, the UNC Carolina Global Breastfeeding Institute, and the SAFE Infant Feeding Team.
