We’re excited to share that the SAFE (Support and Advocacy for Feeding in Emergencies) Team has received a $20,000 grant from the Marcia Brady Tucker Foundation to support the development of a virtual training series on infant and young child feeding during emergencies.

This initiative is made possible through the generous funding of the Foundation, the foundational leadership of the North Carolina Breastfeeding Coalition in creating and growing the SAFE Team, and the continued infrastructure and operational support from Breastfeeding Family Friendly Communities (BFFC).
The video-based training series is currently in development and is expected to launch in August 2025. It will serve as a vital resource for healthcare providers, emergency responders, and public health professionals supporting families affected by disaster.
